Goals

Undergraduate Program

　　Our department aims to educate excellent teachers and child development researchers in the field of early childhood education.The targets are as follows:

1. To hold the knowledge and capacities of early childhood education and kindergarten teaching abilities.
2. To cultivate the administration abilities of early childhood education.
3. To promote the interests and capacities of early childhood education research.
4. To spread the development areas of early childhood education with multiple dimentions.

Master Program

　　The master program of Early Childhood Education was founded in 2000. The program aims to provide the abilities of curriculum design and research methods for graduate students that reflects the culture context of Eastern Taiwan. It emphasizes the integration of theory and practices, targeting further development of Early Childhood Education in terms of diversity and professionalism.
