Curriculum

Bachelor Class

Students of this bachelor's degree must meet the core curriculum and curriculum requirements of the school, and the credits will be 128 credits.

1.The bachelor's degree major in this department consists of the following:

1.1.Foundation Program of Education 15 credits.

1.2.Core Program of Early Childhood Education 26 credits.

1.3.The bachelor's degree Professional elective Program ( Preschool Educare Basis Program, Preschool Teacher Education Program 2 choice 1).

2.The bachelor's degree Professional elective Program:

2.1. Preschool Educare Basis Program 27 credits.

2.2. Preschool Teacher Education Program 27 credits.

3.Core curriculum 37 credits (9 credits in language, 2 credits in information technology, 4 credits in physical education, 2 credits in service studies, 20 credits in elective core courses).

Master Class

　　The master program requires 30 credits, thesis, and oral defense. In addition to the Professional Required 10 credits, students may choose the other 20 credits from the follow three areas: Research Tools and Methods, Curriculum and Teaching, and Emerging Education Issues. Students are encouraged to take courses according to their research interests. After graduation, our students have worked as college or university lecturers, preschool directors and teachers, social workers, and developers of early childhood education related materials and publications. A few of them go further for doctoral studies in Taiwan or abroad.
