    The Department is devoted to educating competent early childhood teachers and researchers.  Therefore, the Department maintains:

（1）an equal emphasis of both the professional theories and their respective practices,
（2）an open channel for frequent exchanges of native perspectives with their world counterparts,
（3）a regular interface between current developments in the profession with its future trends.
